The deadpan and the hyperbolic cancel each other out in this comedy-drama about a former TV star whose agent has convinced her that publicity is publicity. Dressing as the sitcom character she played when she was seven and signing autographs for kitsch hounds at a car dealership doesn't help her career, so she claims to be lesbian and even hires her own stalker. The humorless belaboring of cliches about falling from stardom is interrupted when an old flame reenters her life and things get seriously unfunny. Several former TV stars play themselves, do cameos, or play themselves doing cameos. Written and directed by Greg Glienna; with Judy Tenuta and Michael Lerner.
