Desperate Hours

A 1990 remake of the Humphrey Bogart-Fredric March thriller The Desperate Hours (1955), about a group of convicts terrorizing a family. Joseph Hayes wrote the original novel and play, which were inspired by a true-life story, and collaborated with Lawrence Konner and Mark Rosenthal on the script of the remake. Michael Cimino directed and coproduced; with Mickey Rourke, Anthony Hopkins, Mimi Rogers, Lindsay Crouse, Kelly Lynch, and Elias Koteas. 108 min.
