Re: “‘Women are the most powerful political force in America right now,’ Cecile Richards says

I assume that buster was referring to Hillary Clinton as a war criminal - a sentiment with which I would whole-heartedly agree, as long as we include Bill Clinton, Bush I, Bush II, Trump, and Obama on that list. The obvious trouble with seeing "women" as a powerful political force is that it is a myopic viewpoint which ignores vast differences in socioeconomic class and ethnicity. How much, for instance, does an entitled white neoliberal like Hillary Clinton really have in common with the poor black mothers on welfare who might have been affected by the Clinton administration's Welfare Reform Act in 1996?

Re: “Bernie Sanders: The ‘political revolution’ is well under way in Chicago

Any interest I had in Bernie Sanders as an "independent" or "progressive" alternative vanished when it became clear that he had no interest in challenging US imperialist foreign policy and its concomitant huge military budget. The spectacle of him kissing Hillary Clinton's ass at the Democratic Convention was beyond disgusting.
