The Reader indulged in cruel irony (October 6) when, directly below the heartbreaking story of Korean "comfort women" kidnapped and enslaved by the Japanese army during World War II, you placed an ad paid for by the Japanese government inviting foreigners to come and "experience life in 'real' Japan." Good heavens! What's next?
