To the editors:

In "Film Biographies" by Jeff Black [December 25], a list of movie titles are described as being appropriate for "Diana, Duchess of Windsor."

Princess Di (as of this writing, anyway) is actually the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Princess of Wales and a few other, lesser titles.

The only woman to bear the title of Duchess of Windsor was none other than an All-American Girl named Bessie Wallis Warfield Spencer Simpson (who was deemed "unsuitable" for queendom 50 years ago and must now be enjoying a great, hearty, posthumous last laugh).
