On a 2006 episode of This American Life, Ira Glass looked back at the quaint way people talked about the Internet in 1997. His findings were not unlike those in this dating-site experiment, in which performers create fake profiles in order to interact with real singles (perverts and typos on the Web? Who knew?!). Even if the subject matter feels a little rewarmed, Frank Caeti's superb cast mines it for music, original and timely jokes, and in true Second City fashion, an authentic sense of heart. Robyn Lynne Norris's ultimately winning concept inspires some truly great crowd work and improvised scenes that affirm universal anxieties about love and loneliness, digital or otherwise. —Dan Jakes
