The decor is a bit tired and stark, especially considering the big windows to the sidewalk. But the food is fine and not expensive. A step above other diner-type places.

Re: “Tango Sur

Excellent spot for dinner! The inside seating looked stuffy on a hot night and was empty, but probably is cozy in the winter. The outdoor seating was pleasant, the sidewalk and street are just busy enough to entertain but not distract. The food is a terrific change from regular neighborhood stuff (bar food, thai, italian), but the salad and bread is a bit weak. Overall fun and inexpensive.

Re: “Reza's

Great food, fast service, huge place. If you are in the mood for romance or something fine, Reza's won't be the place for you. But the food is superior and the waistaff is friendly. If you please, you may take your time; they do not rush you out. But the food and check come so quickly, you do feel like it's time to finish that debate and move on to a bar. The place is great for groups, heated discussion, and sharing delicious food.

Re: “Orso's

We go here often after wandering the neighborhood one cold night and stumbling into the place. We had found the perfect spot to satisfy that night's cravings. Perhaps that excellent start has colored my impression of the place, but I think it is great fun and a good meal. We take friends there all the time, and out of town guests always request a return visit. Something about the food and atmosphere make it perfect for most any mood - romantic, fancy, casual, etc. all work.
