Original location of the cozy Thai restaurant.

Our Review

Canary yellow walls with Thai movie posters and handmade mosaic tabletops brighten up this tiny storefront, formerly a noodle house. While the menu offerings are standard, the preparations are notably skillful: baby egg rolls were perfectly rolled and filled with chicken, shrimp, black mushrooms, and bean thread. Pot stickers were equally delicious, full of a blend of shrimp and vegetables and served with a rich dark black soy and sesame sauce. Salads, noodles, and curries are flavorful and ample, and a wonderful spicy basil dish came with a choice of chicken or beef tossed with onions, straw mushrooms, and hot peppers. There's also a lunch special: for around $7 you get a slightly smaller portion of one of three-dozen dishes along with your choice of spring rolls, egg rolls, or a refreshing but sweet cucumber salad. They'll make most dishes vegetarian upon request.
