my fiance and i went here because i had driven by it numerous times- since it's right down the street from where i work and live. plus, we received a buy one dinner get one free coupon in the mail and i wanted to take advantage of it. i didn't know anyone who had eaten here before so i thought i'd give it a chance. it turned out to be a very good choice. great setting- italian-quiet, but there was a large group of men a one table. not very crowded- but, it was a rainy, cold night and not many people probably felt like going out for dinner. the two spreads for the bread were excellent. my fiance had the cavatappi with chicken, fresh spinach and goat cheese (which i ate for lunch the next day), it was fantastic- great flavor! the salad we both loved the dressing. the ingredients seemed to be fresh, i would frequent here again- definetly with another coupon!

Re: “The Pasta Bowl

I love Pasta Bowl!!! I have been to this restaurant so many times, that i can't remember. It is one of the best "bang for your buck" rest. in the city. The food is great and super, super cheap. Plus, i never have to wait for a table, even on the weekends. The service is very friendly, not to mention fast. When you get the bill, you'll laugh about what a deal you got. This is a must for anyone, especially those looking for good, quick, healthy and cheap italian food!

Re: “Flat Top Grill

I loved this place. All of the options were quite fresh. The food couldn't be bad, if it was, it was your fault since you're the one who picked out what your meal was. i had three different mini meals. two with chicken, veggies, and a pasta and one with rice and veggies. i used differerent sauces an spices. this type of "all you can eat, pick what you want" place is great. the food is so healthy- watch for your salt intake with the spices and sauces. they even had a huge board that told you nutrition info. the place wasn't very big- if you got a booth, you were lucky. we sat at a little table with two couples on both sides of us, very, very close. so close we talked to one for quite awhile. if you're a social person it's a great place - you'll have fun. good atmosphere and they play 80's music- which was awesome. if you're a vegetarian they cook your food at a different spot, so as not to touch any meat residue. good pick!!!

Re: “Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

The restaurant was fun, i liked the atmosphere-everybody sat in a big room. busy place -lot's of big groups of people. however, i am a pretty healthy eater and if you are, this isn't the place for you. i don't eat meat or fried foods and this place was loaded with both. there weren't many things on the menu that i liked. so, i settles for the shrimp creole. it was good, but way-way-way to salty. i think i got my sodium intake for the next 3 months. but, that's a seafood restuarant for you. the service was quite good and our waiter was very friendly- which is important. my fiance got a steak-which was large and two very large sides of garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli.
