Richard Davis and Stephanie Anderson introduce this trio of short films that integrate poetry: Alfred Leslie's The Last Clean Shirt (1964, 42 min.), whose dialogue is drawn from Frank O'Hara; Toshio Matsumoto's Nishijin (1961, 25 min.), with narration by Hiroshi Sekine; and Alain Resnais' Le Chant du Styrene (1957, 19 min.), with narration by Raymond Queneau.
