Bozo blew it.

He could have been one of the great clowns, but, in the end, he was only the oldest. Captain Kangaroo in a polyester wig. Mister Rogers with a gin blossom nose.

There was no sesame growing on Bozo's street. No romping in his room. He was just one in a long line of clowns. As Ronnie Wickers told me, "Bozo, woo! Wizzo, woo! Cookie, woo! Cubs, woo! Beer, woo!"
