Let's cut to the chase. Sorry i don't remember what my friend had, but it was very good. Mainly, my duck breast, contrary to L-LS' review, was excellent. Nothing was too sweet. In fact everything was perfect and very tasty. Mainly, though, we were the only ones there on a late tuesday night. Come on, Chicago, let's get with it. This place deserves way better. By the way, they don't have a liquor license.

Re: “Mount Everest

This Tibetan restaurant turns out to be centered mostly on Indian cusine. But they do one of the best jobs with it that i've had in Chicago (or Evanston. Some Tibetan ("village") specialties are on the menu. I've eaten there several times since and it continues to be quite good. Very tasty--especially if you like spicy.

Expensive but quite good. Wonderful service. The manager stopped by to chat. One service glitch, though: the bus people kept wanting to wisk things away though we WEREN'T DONE, darn it. Creamed spinach was fine, shoestring fries were crisp and hot (needed salt) and the steak was to die for. Dessert tried hard but was unimpressive.

Re: “Chipotle Mexican Grill

What can i say? Strictly fast food and plenty of it. Guess i'd go back. Maybe next year. I'm actually interested in what one of their fast-food margaritas tastes like.
