Re: “The Lunchbox

There is a direct ratio of equal parts drivel in this review to delight in this film. Forget everything this guy says: the so-called 'comic foils' consist of a wonderfully nuanced portrayal of a young man with not a lot going for him who is trying against all odds to make something of himself, and an unseen 'Auntie' who clearly has sacrificed herself to take care of her husband & clings to the relationship she has with the young neighbor downstairs. (Auntie, or Uncle, btw, is an endearment spoken by younger people to any older person, not necessarily related.)
