Free concerts aren't hard to find in the summer months, but they can be a hard sell if they compete with dinner. Perhaps recognizing this, the six-year-old Rush Hour Concert Series at Saint James Cathedral starts its weekly chamber-music concerts with snacks and wine at 5:15 PM. After half an hour of noshing, members of the Chicago Chamber Musicians, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and other top-notch organizations provide the music. The July 18 concert features Debussy violin and cello sonatas; the series runs Tuesdays through August 29.
