Re: “Forced Out After 26 Years at Free Street Theater, Artistic Director Ron Bieganski Starts a New "Family"

There are good and bad parts to everything, and what makes this issue so complicated is that there's a lot of respect and love for Ron. I'm glad you personally didn't have to deal with what the Thailand group and other people have dealt with, but that doesn't erase that it did happen, and for you to insinuate that people need their facts checked as if they don't know what happened to them is insulting. Not once in all of the comments does anyone deny how brilliant Ron is what he's taught and the positive impact he's had, and I wonder if you're paying much attention to what people are saying happened because they were there. What is being said (and maybe this got lost in translation) is that the brilliance of his teaching is besmirched by his actions, actions that have made an impact on people that have been at Free Street. So glad that you don't feel unsafe (and really, no one mentioned feeling unsafe, I believe) but people have spoken up about it, and even if the group is small, that's enough. The facts are up there. People refuse to take them in.
