Presented by Performing Arts Chicago, the CineDance Festival features films and videos of choreographed dance. The opening program, running a little over two hours, will include: Diversion of Angels and Lamentation, performed by the Martha Graham Dance Company; Channels/Inserts, directed by Charles Atlas and choreographed by Merce Cunningham; Turtle Dreams/Waltz, conceived by Meredith Monk and directed by Ping Chong; and excerpts from the Martha Clarke piece Garden of Earthly Delights.
