"I am disgusting," Caitlin Bergh declares near the end of her funny, engaging one-woman show. It's a point she makes, one way or another, throughout her routine—a series of "true and horrifying" stories about coming out as a lesbian. Thing is, she's not really disgusting at all; her shtick is to charm us by insisting that she is. Bergh doesn't hold back on the uncomfortable details of her life, nor does she hesitate to make fun of herself, sucking every last drop of awkwardness out of each anecdote. And she certainly doesn't shy away from gross stories: the title of the piece has nothing to do with her weight. —Julia Thiel
