Chess Records, a fixture in the world of music, is now a designated Chicago Landmark. "2120" is internationally known as the site of some of the world's most influential Blues and Rock n' Roll music recordings, including "Johnny B. Goode," "Rescue Me," and "Red Rooster." Normally open to the public by appointment only, this event will include a special tour of the studios, a "Blues Harmonica Workshop" with musicians Doktu Rhute Muuzic and Fernando Jones (complimentary harmonicas with ticket!), and hear from Sound Opinions' hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot as they share the legacy of Chess Record Studios.
