Seems like modern horror's reliance on CGI has made the genre's devotees all the more nostalgic for the cherry-red gore of low-budget oldies. Chicago filmmaker Chester Turner (not to be confused with the serial killer) became a legend in the 1980s for shot-on-video trash-horror movies like Black Devil Doll From Hell and Tales From the Quadead Zone. He answers questions after a screening of the latter, an anthology that features murderous rednecks, a ghost clown, and a kitchen utensil bloodbath.
