Camp Classic

To the editors:

Did Jonathan Rosenbaum [February 2] see the same Roger and Me that I did? The one I saw was the left-wing counterpart of those embarrassing "I-was-a-Communist" movies excreted by Hollywood during the McCarthy era: an hysterically smug and self-righteous mishmash of half-truths, outright lies and political propaganda masquerading as fact. I am confident that twenty years from now it will be revered as a camp classic, right up there with Plan 9 From Outer Space and They Saved Hitler's Brain.
