Dear editor,

While I appreciated Michael Miner's "Autopsy of a Lisagor" [March 5], the issues involved here are far broader and deeper than merely the defamation of character of Dr. Charles Crenshaw, which was a minor aspect of all this. Professional journalists ought to care if the leading medical journal in the USA, if not the world, is being used for the propagation of propaganda about the death of the 35th president of the United States. I believe that Assassination Science, which I edited, has thoroughly documented this to be the case. Yet the response from the Headline Club has been to yawn and carry on. If you turn away from atrocities of this kind, upon whom can the American people rely for help in guarding their freedom?
