Learn about Chicago's brewing history while tasting local craft brews and enjoying a unique event space...all to support a great local nonprofit! Join the Chicago Metro History Education Center at Brews for History 2010 A fundraising event to benefit the Chicago Metro History Fair, including *a beer tasting of local craft brews (sponsored by Goose Island Beer Company and Two Brothers Brewing Company) as well as appetizers provided by Bar Louie, *a lecture by Bill Savage (PhD, Northwestern, and professional bartender) titled "Chicago Beer History: Lager Riots, Tied Houses, and Brew Pubs" and *a live DJ, door prizes, and a silent auction of BEER-aphernalia!
