Bodies of Work Festival | Preston Bradley Hall, Chicago Cultural Center | Dance | Chicago Reader
This is a past event.
When: Wed., May 15 2013
Art speaks to people. The Bodies of Work Festival has a specific message about what disability means "personally, politically, and aesthetically." The 11-day, multivenue event (through 5/25), which celebrates the work of artists with disabilities, kicks off tonight with an opening celebration and panel discussion, and continues with a series of theater and dance performances, as well as film screenings and poetry readings. Admission varies but tonight is free. Check out Arts & Culture for much more.
