The Black Harvest festival, which showcases films and videos by black artists from around the world, continues this week at the Gene Siskel Film Center (164 N. State) with the Chicago premiere of the blaxploitation parody Black Dynamite (Sat 8/15 and Thu 8/20, 8:15 PM); director Scott Sanders will attend the Saturday screening. See our listings for reviews of two other features showing this week: Michael Patrei's documentary Ballou and Sean Baker's drama Prince of Broadway.
