Best urinal

The Mutiny

2428 N. Western

While this category was initially going to be "Most repulsive venue bathroom," it just didn't seem right bestowing that honor on anyone now that Ronny's isn't throwing shows anymore. With that in mind, the next most critical venue-bathroom category has to be best urinal, right? Say what you want about the Mutiny, but the behemoth, refrigerator-size urinal just dares you to miss. Weekend nights typically feature a volatile combo of exceptionally murky and dim punk-rock lighting, dudes pounding six-dollar mini-pitchers of PBR and Old Style, and who-the-hell-knows-what-band blowing through an 18-minute set of loudness. I have to applaud the venue for having such keen foresight. —Kevin Warwick
