The best-known feature (1973) of Quebecois filmmaker Andre Forcier (Au clair de la lune, An Imaginary Tale) focuses on a bar owner (Guy L'Ecuyer) on the verge of bankruptcy in a run-down section of Montreal and his grown daughter who helps him operate the place. Shot in black and white and scripted by Forcier and Jacques Marcotte, who also stars. With Madeleine Chartrand.
