Three north side dance crews in the early days of house struggle to come out on top while redefining gender and family. UrbanTheater Company artistic director Miranda González created the script, based on José "Gringo" Echevarría's memoir, The Real Dance Fever: Book One." Presented as part of the third annual Chicago International Latino Theater Festival: Destinos. The production is "fully immersive" without seating, though there is limited seating for up to ten patrons upon advance request.
