Re: “Del Seoul's Korean-Mex a la Kogi BBQ

Del Seoul is excellent, especially if you are just trying Korean food for the first time. And the prices can't be beat!

Re: “Acre: easy does it

I am glad you reviewed this because I was wondering if I was alone in my thoughts. I had frequented Charlies somewhat often for the "take the out of towners someplace normal" dinners, and was excited to try Acre. We walked in and there was no direction or information on which side of the restaurant we should sit on. Afraid, we opted for the "tap room". The beer menu was excellent, but the food menu was incredibly small on selection, and rather repetative - there were at least 3 of 7 options made with oysters the night I went, and since I can't eat oysters, that didn't leave a lot of options. Prices were more expensive than Charlies, which would be fine if the food was anything more impressive, but it wasn't. The burger with the homemade mustard was excellent though, but I had better fries at McDonalds and my 3 dining companions were unimpressed with their meals. As soon as we were done eating, the waitstaff practically pushed us out, even though we probably would have stayed to have a few more drinks and dessert. We weren't even offered a dessert menu. It was one of those unfortunate nights were I was left apologizing to my friends as it was my idea to try Acre.
