Only four people are allowed in at a time to see Jeremy Menekseoglu's latest poetic phantasmagoria--and one of them has to play the Lead Role, interacting with the menacing, mincing figures that lurk on the shadowy stage. The whole thing lasts just 15 minutes. It's ghastly in all the right ways. If you’re playing the Lead Role (which is the best way to experience the show), a thuggish man with an unplaceable eastern European accent will mistake you for a female, American nurse and strong-arm you into tending the lesions that are apparently rotting his caged whore from the inside out. As usual, Menekseoglu's imagery is vivid, disturbing, and resonant, and the mesmerizing performers convey just the right mix of horror and humor. Here's hoping part two is at least an hour long. --Justin Hayford
