Artifacts & Ideas For a Nature Inspired Architecture

CHICAGO MOSAIC SCHOOL ARTIFACTS & IDEAS FOR A NATURE INSPIRED ARCHITECTURE Eight local artists plus a special guest from California will exhibit works in a show at the Chicago Mosaic School during April and May. Participating artists are Karen Ami, Sharon Bladholm, Richard Bruck, John Hatlestad, Bill Moran, Christine Perri, P. K. VanderBeke and Larry Zgoda. James Hubbell of San Diego will enhance local efforts with his unique vision. The show will feature works in painting, sculpture, woodworking, mosaic, holography, stained glass and architectural concepts, all with the inspiration of connecting our built environment to the living world. The gallery exhibition will be the first time James Hubbell, known for “organic” architecture, will exhibit in Chicago. The show will open on Friday, April 9 with a reception from 6 to 9 PM. The Chicago Mosaic School is located on the 2nd floor at 1800 W. Cuyler, in Chicago.
