"Get Yourself Some Dynamite!" [July 14]: Newly arrived in Chicago, I was going down Lake Shore Drive with my parents and watched the Court of Appeals building being ripped to shreds. I was in eighth grade at the time and probably 14 years old. I thought then what a waste! Seems like an eighth grader knew more than a few city hall honchos at the time. Before they put up the present Museum of Contemporary Art, I thought, what a great opportunity to create a large open park!
