An American Carol

Hollywood conservative David Zucker, who made his name directing Airplane! (1980) and Top Secret! (1984), tries to give Michael Moore his comeuppance with this comedy about a left-wing filmmaker (Kevin Farley) whose crusade to abolish Independence Day is interrupted by three ghosts of America past—George Washington, George Patton, and John F. Kennedy. PG-13.
