The great thing about Latitude is that you can come in on any week night and get seated immediately. Their food is better-than-bar food and they use surprisingly good ingredients for salads and entrees. The balsamic on the mozzerella salad is awesome. Wine selection is decent and there are a good amount of unique beers by the glass.

Great specials during the week. I believe we took advantage of the "Buy 1 entree get one half off" when we were there. Service is great too. Attentive enough without being annoying.

Re: “Quartino

Quartino was a huge disappointment to me and everyone I dined with. We waited in the bar to be seated for dinner which started off well with a very friendly and helpful waitress. That is where the positives ended. We were escorted back to a table that was practically IN the kitchen. When we asked to wait until another table opened up the server obliged only to seat at us a table at the other entrance to the kitchen. Completely missing the point of why we waited another 45 minutes past our reservation. The restaurant serves tapas-style food which lends itself to having several plates and dishes on the table at once. The tiny tables at Quartino were not the least bit conducive to having much on them at all. Busboys hovered our shoulders scooping up plates that still had food on them just so they could set down what were they were serving at that moment.
Our waitress throughout dinner was completely missing in action. When she did come to our table she would seem so annoyed to have to wait on us and even rolled her eyes when we ordered desert. Several other diners in the restaurant seemed as squashed in their booths as we were and were equally annoyed with the service. Our friendly and helpful waitress from the bar did bring us a round of drinks during dinner while our waitress was missing.

Re: “Riverview Tavern

Really good "bar food" plus a lot of more unique choices. Service sometimes lacks but the food is great.

Re: “Costello Sandwich & Sides

Costello's has been around forever, but they recently revamped their menu and improved their service. The portions are huge if you get your meal "deluxe" (includes side, chips and a drink) and are almost a little too big. The crowd varies from moms with strollers to weekday business people. Overall good value, and in the warmer months they have a great outdoor back patio.
