Just underneath the featured article, you'll find our new rollover bar, which provides an overview of each of our five main sections. Think of it as a window into what's going on in each section every day.

To the right of our featured article, you'll find the most recent headlines from the Bleader blog. You'll find a similar feed on our News, Music, Arts, Food, Film, and Style pages—except that those feeds will select posts related to those sections.

In the top-right corner of the home page—in the top-right corner of most pages, in fact—you'll find recommended "Do It Today" events, the ability to "Search for All Events" by date and/or category, and quick access to one of our favorite new features, "The Reader's Agenda."

Agenda is where you'll find a week's worth of events handpicked by our critics, presented in an expandable calendar format that makes it easy for you to plan your week.
If, however, you happen to be one of those Chicagoans whose week revolves around which bands are playing where, you'll probably end up spending more time on our Soundboard calendar. It's just like Agenda, but for concerts only.
Feel like staying in? Allow Old Movies to Watch Now to sift through our archive of 3,000 movie reviews and present you with those that are A) worth watching, and B) streaming instantly on Netflix or Hulu Plus. Just don't get so hooked that you're compelled never to leave the house.
The Reader's Bleader blog finally has the home—and mascot!—it deserves. You can view posts and comments on all topics at once, or you can click on each of the five sections to read posts and comments by topic. Whatever you do, don't fear the Bleader.
