Re: “R. Kelly, Tamia

"He couldn't have done more to ingratiate himself with skeptical older black women if he'd thrown in a box of chocolates and a foot rub."
-This is stereotypical as hell. I guess older white women don't like boxes of chocolates and foot rubs either (I'll have to ask some of my coworkers. Not only are you (Raymer) cosigning mediocre musicians, but now you're adding your stereotypical viewpoints in as well. Stick to the music, and leave your two cents out of it.

Re: “Chief Keef goes bigger than expected, signs to Interscope

I second the first comment. Just because an indie DJ/Producer and Kanye's ADHD/EBD afflicted ass cosigns some uneducated, inarticulate (listen to the interview if you don't believe me, better yet, listen to "I don't like") lost teenager doesn't make it hot. A bass heavy angry chant rap with a barely discernible hook does not validate a million dollar deal with a major record company. What's next? Will the Bulls sign a weed smoking high school baller just because he has nice handles? This bastardization of hip hop has got to stop. A song should have to do more that than make you feel angry to be deemed as good.

Re: “If you only download 12 rap mix tapes today, make this one of them

First the glowing review of Odd Future and now this? I couldn't get past the first song. Danny Brown's nasal pitch and his odd flow makes this difficult to listen to. No offense, but I think there is a problem with music reviewers (Chicago Reader, the Rolling Stone for example) who primarily review rock music and come across some "alternative" hip hop performer/group and gives them a glowing review because they see their music as creative, when in truth most times it's just some weird shit.
