Re: “With CPS-takeover proposal, Rauner tries to take Rahm down with him

The manner in which Rahm handled the McDonald case is the same tactic he used when he was an adviser to Clinton and Obama. Initially they conceal, then they deny and finally they delay. They did this with the Bimbo Eruptions, they did it with Benghazi and they "Tried" to do it with McDonald. Rahm, Axelrod, Bill Daley, Stephanopoulos; this is the team that used the above cited tactic to deceive and control the public and it worked, in the '90s. But the times have changed, today we have instant news and the Media is no longer limited or controlled by a handful of Elitists. Rahm fooled those Blacks who voted for him, but they are not enjoying being played the fool. So Rahm won a second term, but because he and Anita got caught, they will both pay a terrible price. Anita will be out of a job in a few weeks, no Federal Judgeship. Rahm the Proud Strutting Rooster will spend the rest of his term as the humiliated Little Phony that he really is. In winning by any means, he ultimately lost.

Re: “What's Governor Rauner up to? None of your business

Why is this surprising, when his closest Political ally is Rahm? Have you forgotten the photos of them sharing wine at the $150,000 Members only Wine Club? In Illinois Party labels mean nothing; because it is all about an Elite Power Caste, which includes Democrats and Republicans. I was once politically active, but now I realize it does not matter whom we vote for, because the Power will never change hands.

Re: “Corrections and clarifications from Bob Fioretti*

I feel sorry for Fioretti, he was a sincere man, and stood up to the first parking meter deal, and he is ill. Anyone who has met him knows he was too ill and frail to take over the job. So we should all wish him well his heart was in the right place, and the politician in him is endorsing Rahm. Make no mistake about it, Rahm has failed and must be stopped.

Re: “Rahm campaign: Chuy once jaywalked

Recently, I heard someone use the term "Wetback", and nobody was offended. Yet within this same college educated group, if someone had dared to use the infamous "N" word, it would have brought up at least one objection. And I fear that the underlying current against Garcia, the 600 pound Gorilla in the room is Race. Rahm has failed in four years to come up with a plan to solve the pension issues and crime. Suburban construction companies, and certain law firms have prospered under Rahm, while Neighborhood life has deteriorated. Where do you think those 150,000 people who lived in the Projects went when the Projects were eliminated? Thousands of them took their gang violence and drug dealing to what used to be Middle Class black neighborhoods, and of course working class suburbs. And what about the issue of Crime? Rahm insulted the Chicago Police Department by bringing in an outsider, who had No Clue as to the magnitude of gang entrenchment in the culture and life of Chicago. Consider that he disbanded the Mobile Units that have existed since WWII to be able to move to Hot Spots and address specific crime issues. Our military has Navy SEALS to address specific issues; so you don't send regular sailors to do what Navy SEALS do, and for that reason you should not send Beat Cops to do what a specific anti-crime unit does. The only reason homicides are down, IS BECAUSE OUR LEVEL OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE IS SO IMPROVED THAT WE CAN NOW DISPATCH AN EMERGENCY ROOM ON WHEELS. So measure Crime Rates in terms of actual shootings and attacks, not deaths, and since Rahm took over the figure exceeds 10,000 citizens shot! Rahm has done nothing but continue the Legacy of Daley. The only reason to not vote for Chuy is because, we he's a Wetback, though he was raised a neighborhood guy.

Re: “Forgive Phil Ponce his unpleasant questions to Chuy

If we are going to bring "The Children" a term Rahm likes to use to justify virtually every increase in fees and the speed cameras, I suggest two points to consider: 1. Rahm has 24 hr. police protection including officers assigned to the front and rear of his residence. Yet Rahm's kid allegedly was robbed on their street, and please note Ponce lives on that same street. SO IF RAHM IS GOING TO REDUCE CRIME, WHY CAN HE NOT REDUCE CRIME IN HIS OWN NEIGHBORHOOD, WITH OVER TWO DOZEN COPS ASSIGNED TO GUARD HE AND HIS FAMILY? 2. O.K. shall we talk about children? Rahm's kid was allegedly beaten and robbed while he was talking to a college counselor, after 10:00 p.m. on a weekend. When the offender was finally arrested, and he is involved in drugs and drug sales, the Public Defender was ready to order that the "Counselor" be produced to testify under oath, and that Rahm's kid's phone records be produced. At that point Rahm's wife settled for a plea bargain. Personally I don't like Chuy or Rahm, but Rahm has had 4 yrs and he has only helped his buddies in the 1% Club. Garcia is a much needed change, and we absolutely need change. If you doubt me check how much your water bill has gone up, fees and most of all those Speed Cameras, not the Red Light cameras. The Speed Cameras by schools issuing citations even when schools are closed.

Re: “Obama once again comes to Rahm's rescue

I can remember when Obama did an endorsement commercial for Blago! Think they'll keep a copy of that work of art at the new Museum and Shrine to our Messiah?

Re: “John Kass is turning the center into the new radical fringe

Terrorists attempt to take our freedom and in some cases our lives. The government response to Terrorism, is to take our freedom and in some cases take total control of our lives. Remember the Patriot Act?
