Re: “Kuma's Corner

This was my fourth time eating at Kuma's. The wait to be seated gets longer every time but I guess you can't blame them for their popularity, I don't think they expected the attention they're receiving. That being said, we had to wait an hour and forty minutes for a table, when we were told it would be 45 minutes. We ordered drinks at the bar, that took 20 minutes and the bartender seemed like he did not want to be there. Once we were seated it was another 30 minutes before we had our order taken. When the burgers did arrive though, they were delicious and cooked to perfection as always. I opted for the Kaijo this time which is piled with frizzled onions, basically shaved onion rings, combined with blue cheese and bacon, it was amazing. I recommend a pint of Great Lakes Porter alongside your burger, the roasted aroma, hints of caramel and bready malts is a perfect pair. If you go during dinner hours expect to be there for several hours. Next time I will opt for carryout.
