Re: “Radhuni Indian Kitchen

I was pretty disappointed with this restaurant. I can't say the food was too bad, but it was bland, bland, bland. In particular, the chana masala was almost inedible -- sort of like the flavor of a wet sponge, I'd imagine.

I had the lunch buffet, and though reasonably priced at 8.99, I wasn't satisfied. The samosas were good, though

Re: “Indian Garden

The lunch buffet is an excellent bargain, and 4 times out of 5 it's really good.

This is one of the better Indian places on Devon.

Re: “Mysore Woodlands

I was kind of disappointed with this place. It was OK, but the ingredients were not all that fresh. My dosa was decent, but nothing unique or innovative.

Re: “Chicago Diner

My vegan reuben was to-die-for, and the carrot cake is awesome!

It's true that the service can be slow at times; however, I find this to be a very friendly place, and the food is really, really good.

Re: “Essence of India

I've eaten here about three times now, and I've been very impressed each time. On this particular visit we went to the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, which was excellent.

I try to eat Indian food once a week, and this is my new favorite spot in Chicago.

Re: “Indian Garden

The lunch buffet is a good value. Not sure the names of most of the stuff that I ate, but since I don't eat meat I was able to eat a little of almost everything.
Not particularly for the health-minded though, as everything is made with a lot of oil or is fried.

Re: “Connie's Pizza

Pizza was a little bland, but ingredients were fresh. The crust was very good--better than most deep-dish pizzas. The breaded mozzarella entree is very good.
Overall this is a nice place to go out for pizza--spacious, friendly, easy parking, good fodd-- but not the kind of pizza to die for.
