Re: “Red Light

I think I made a mistake when I ordered Pad Thai. I probably shouldn't have gotten something that I've had on numerous occasions, because I didn't like the flavor as much as I've liked it at other restaurants (particularly New Pot Noodle in Oak Park). The spicy pumpkin soup that we got to start with was delicious, though. The decor is great, and the service is very good, as well.

Re: “Cafe Iberico

The only thing I don't like about Cafe Iberico is the seating. The chairs have perfectly vertical backs (uncomfortable!) and are very close to each other at the tables. Other than that, the food is great, the service is quick, and the prices are cheap. A great place to go with friends who like to share.

Re: “Heartland Cafe

The Heartland Cafe is a perfect place for any vegetarian. They have a wide range of veggie and organic foods, as well as several dishes with meat in them. They even have some more exotic meats, like Buffalo. The garlic mashed potatoes are delicious, and the chai shake was exquisite. The only complaint I have is that the service can be somewhat neglectful. Another benefit, for WBEZ members is that they accept the Chicago Public Radio Membercard, so if you dine with a friend, you can get one entree for free.

Re: “La Luce

The pasta was perfectly al dente. The service was splendid. I will definitely return!
