Whether you're into nude cycling or peculiar musical gizmos, there's no shortage of happenings this weekend. (And, hey, there's always Blues Fest!)

Fri 6/9-Sat 6/10: The interactive game show Science Night at the Steppenwolf Theatre (1650 N. Halsted) gives participants an idea of what it's like to be a real scientist by asking them to complete middle-school science fair projects. The winner will receive the coveted title of "preeminent tandem scientist." 8 PM

Fri 6/9-Sun 6/11:
Head to Andersonville (5356 N. Clark) for Midsommarfest, a celebration of Swedish culture with plenty of live music, food, and kid-friendly entertainment. Highlights include a salute to ABBA and a performance by the cover band 16 Candles. Fri 5-10 PM, Sat-Sun 11 AM-10 PM

Fri 6/9:
CJ Hungerman and Dominic Sansone tackle gun culture and its victims, the surrounding bigotry, and cultural apathy with the exhibition "Bang! Gotcha Joe!" at the Fulton Market Kitchen (311 N. Sangamon). 5 PM-midnight

Sat 6/10-Sun 6/11: Enjoy a weekend of live music and environmental consciousness at Green Music Fest (Damen between North and Schiller). Attendees are encouraged to reduce their environmental footprints through a bicycle-powered stage, sustainable retail, and countless water refill stations. Noon-10 PM

6/10-6/11: The historic Old Town Art Fair (1763 N. Park) celebrates its 69th year with work from 250 renowned artists, as well as plenty of food and live music. Proceeds benefit local art and cultural programs. Sat 10 AM-7 PM, Sun 10 AM-6 PM

Sat 6/10:  Former Daily Show correspondent and current SNL Weekend Update coanchor Michael Che brings his thought-provoking stand-up to Thalia Hall (1227 W. 18th). Finding comedy in the controversial, Che doesn't shy away from the issues facing Americans today. 10 PM

Sat 6/10: No shirt, no pants, no problem. The World Naked Bike Ride is coming to Chicago. Celebrate human-powered transportation and body positivity by cycling through the city unclothed and unembarrassed. A meet-up location will be disclosed in the days leading up to the event. 6-8 PM

Sun 6/11: Multidisciplinary Chicago artist Mykele Deville's "earnest, empathetic raps about racial injustice are as much about Black Lives Matter as about black life," writes the Reader's Leor Galil, "and they’re set over instrumentals that embrace hip-hop’s history with jazz." He plays Schubas (3159 N. Southport) with Brandon Markell Holmes, Mother Nature, and Kopano. 9 PM
