There's plenty to do this week. Here's some of what we recommend:

Mon 3/27: Thomas Frank discusses his book Listen Liberal: Or, What Ever Happened to the Party of the People? at Seminary Co-op (5751 N. Woodlawn). 6 PM

Mon 3/27:
Five local comics artists were paired with local pastry chefs to create a work of art inspired by a dessert for Comics & Pastries Collide at Martyrs' (3855 N. Lincoln). All sweets are available for tasting, and the pieces will be auctioned off to support Common Threads. 6-9 PM

3/27-4/2: It's no secret that Chicago is home to some of the world's most talented improv actors. The Chicago Improv Festival celebrates them with a weeklong series of events across the city, ranging from musical comedy to long-form and dramatic and experimental performances. Scott Adsit, Rachel Dratch, and Dan Harmon headline the fest.
