There's plenty to do this weekend. Here's some of what we recommend:

Mon 12/12: The Game Dev Holiday Mixer at Emporium Arcade Bar (1366 N. Milwaukee) features a video game showcase, a charity raffle, and a collection for toy donations. Proceeds go to University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital. 7 PM

Mon 12/12: Alex Garday hosts Laughs Trump Hate at MCL Chicago (3110 N. Sheffield), a comedy benefit responding to the election of president-elect Donald Trump. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ACLU of Illinois. 7:30 PM

Tue 12/13: The monthly market Sauced hosts its holiday iteration, the Night Market Before Christmas, with a collection of food and gift vendors at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel (12 S. Michigan). There will also be live art installations and a "Bad Santa." 5-10 PM

Tue 12/13: Black Contemporary Art blogger Kimberly Drew and artist-scholar Rashayla Marie Brown discuss photography in the age of social media at the Museum of Contemporary Art (220 E. Chicago). 6 PM

Wed 12/14:
Headquarters Beercade (213 W. Institute) becomes a Mos Eisley cantina for No Match for a Good Blaster, a celebration of the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The night features an exhibition of Star Wars video games, lightsaber fights staged by Edge Theatre, a costume contest, and more. 7 PM-1 AM

Wed 12/14:
Illustrator Tikva Wolf discusses her book based on her webcomic, Ask Me About Polyamory: The Best of Kimchi Cuddles, at Women & Children First (5233 N. Clark). 7:30 PM

Thu 12/15: Prove you know everything about the show about nothing at Seinfeld Trivia Festivus at Reed's Local (3017 W. Belmont). The night includes three rounds of questions, three episodes of the show, and the customary airing of grievances. 7 PM

Thu 12/15:
My Love is Your Love at the Whistler (2421 N. Milwaukee) is a special edition of Slo 'Mo, the dance party featuring "slow jams for homos (and their fans)," marking the final time cofounder DJ Tess spins as Slo 'Mo's resident DJ. 8 PM-2 AM
