No matter who you're voting for, there's still plenty to do this week, before and after the election. Here's some of what we recommend:

Mon 11/7: Chicago historian Sally Sexton Kalmbach hosts Chicago's Leading Ladies, discussing the lives of entrepreneurial women from Chicago’s Gilded Age at the Driehaus Museum (40 E. Erie). 4 and 6 PM

Mon 11/7: Sophia Bush and Monica Raymund host Election Eve Bash, presented by Clandestina Chicago at Thalia Hall (1227 W. 18th). The evening supports Project Vote and feature a full night of performances from DJ Samantha Ronson, the Fly Honeys, and DJ Sandra Suave. 7 PM

Tue 11/8: Someoddpilot (1539 N. Damen) hosts Election Party on Mars, a fitting way to end this campaign season of extraterrestrial madness. The intergalactic-themed dance party features drinks, snacks, survival kits, and a champagne toast when the results are announced. 6-11 PM

Wed 11/9: Alicia Swiz hosts the open mike SlutTalk: Service Industry Stories at GMan Tavern (3748 N. Clark). This storytelling event allows members of the audience to share their "slut" tales from working in the service industry. 8 PM

11/10-2/20: The Museum of Science and Industry (5700 S. Lake Shore) unveils "Where the Wild Things Are: The Works of Maurice Sendak," featuring 50 original works of art by the beloved artist and author. The exhibit also features words from former presidents, illustrators, friends, and celebrities on how each was impacted by Sendak's art and storytelling.
