Street View is a fashion series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights some of the coolest styles seen in Chicago.

Attitude is such an important element of style, and Aleia has a great one. Her smile radiates warmth, and so does her furry coat, a $50 dollar Buffalo Exchange find her mom urged her to buy. "My mom has super eccentric clothing and trained me to look for fun things. My whole life she encouraged the weirdness", Aleia says.

She loves to collect furry items; according to her "texture is good"—a conviction that's clearly reflected in her look. Her pigtails were styled by one of her roommates as part of a collaborative project in which they do each other's hair and then photograph the result: "We want to make a book for spring and then launch it in a salon environment." Another of her endeavors is running a cycling apparel company named Tenspeed Hero in the West Loop. Their line is made for speed but inspired by fashion, so the garments can be worn on or off a bike. I especially love their socks.
