Adam Gil has rebranded—slightly—for the release of his first solo album. His main project Yawn put out its second full-length LP Love Chills just two months ago, marking 2014 as a stacked year for the band and its side projects. Under the sneakily modified name Dam Gila, the front man of the psych-pop group behind the now-defunct DIY venue FeelTrip will release So Long, Leisure on November 18.

What Gil has shared of his solo work so far isn't quite as weird as the music he makes with Yawn, but it holds onto much of the outfit's retro-pop leanings. "Home Again," the third single from So Long, Leisure, is a bright, stomping rock track that lays the guitars on thick. Gil decorates his single coil tones with bubbly, distorted vocals in between verses. During the song's refrain, he sings like there's a whole chorus behind him. This is one of those solo projects that actually might sound bigger and busier than the band with which it's affiliated.

Listen to "Home Again" below.
