I'm keen on listening to new emo songs any time of the year, but for some reason autumn beckons me to rotate through wistful, melodic punk LPs day in and day out. Good thing Michigan's Count Your Lucky Stars is about to release Hello, Again, the debut full-length from local four-piece Kittyhawk. The album supplies today's 12 O'Clock Track, "Seasonal Abjective Disorder," a romper propelled by frizzled power-pop guitars and Kate Grube's assured, sweet vocals. Take a listen to the tune below and prepare for Kittyhawk's record release show at Township on Thu 10/16; Nai Harvest, Churchkey, and Bedroom Sons also perform.
