Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Tonight is the final evening of the Summer Music Film Festival, a celebration of movies that celebrate music. The closing double bill features a pair of films marking their 30th anniversaries: Jonathan Demme's Talking Heads concert doc Stop Making Sense and Prince's magnum opus Purple Rain. See both at the Music Box.

"Phantoms in the Dirt" is the Reader-recommended photo exhibition currently on display at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. "Richard Mosse applies infrared film in documenting war-torn eastern Congo. By registering a normally invisible light spectrum, the technique once helped the military locate camouflaged enemy bands from the air—but in Mosse's surreal, bubblegum-pink vistas, there's no discernible trace of the atrocities happening on the ground," writes Jake Malooley.

There's a pretty pleasant Tuesday to be had at the Museum of Contemporary Art if you so desire. Start by picking through the weekly farmers' market (7 AM-3 PM); then, if you're an Illinois resident, come back later for free admission to the museum. Plus, tonight is Tuesday on the Terrace: Chicago jazz artists play in the MCA terrace and sculpture garden for free, and there's a dinner buffet available for $25.
