Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

In a similar vein to The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), the Hypocrites theater group is adapting another realm of the Western cannon: Greek tragedies. Director Sean Graney links all 32 surviving Greek tragedies into one 12-hour-long show, aptly named All Our Tragic. Graney hopes to create a "modern Festival of Dionysus"—sans orgy, of course—where the performance is punctuated by three hours of feasting and mingling. See it at the Den Theatre.

If you're hungry for some classic ketchup-less franks, head over to Clark and LaSalle for the Chicago History Museum's annual Chicago Hot Dog Fest. On the menu are top dogs from vendors including Chicago Classics, Rapidito, and Wishbone, but the main dish might just be performances by 90s tribute bands Hello Weekend and According to Sarah.

Tonight, Japanese heavy-metal band Boris brings a two-decade-long repertoire of experimental hard rock, thrash, and shoegazing to the Bottom Lounge. "No matter what subset of their massive catalog Boris tackle onstage, they have the presence of towering deities, backed up with mountains of amplifiers—their shows are always otherworldly, skull-rattling experiences," says Reader contributor Luca Cimarusti. The Atlas Moth and Sub Rosa open.
