When local photographer Jeff Phillips unearthed a box of nearly 1,100 slides, he became curious about the fun-loving couple who starred in the shots. "Lost and Found: The Search for Harry and Edna" puts their international travels and party-going on display at Intuit: the Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art.

Everyone's favorite "piano-bashing troubadour," Tori Amos, stops by the Chicago Theatre tonight. In Soundboard Maura Johnston writes, "On 2013's Unrepentant Geraldines (Mercury Classics), Amos's penchant for fusing the otherworldly and the mundane is on full display; brushed drums underscore the creepiness of the folktale 'Trouble's Lament,' and the stark 'Selkie' uses the myth of a seal who becomes a human woman on land to tell a story about star-crossed lovers and feeling comfortable in one's skin."

On the first Tuesday of every month, Chicago Reader writers Ben Joravsky and Mick Dumke are given a stage at the Hideout to talk city politics—and whatever the hell else they might feel needs a takedown. Education reporters Lauren FitzPatrick of the Sun-Times, Sarah Karp of Catalyst, and Linda Lutton of WBEZ are tonight's guests.
