Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

The Chicago Underground Film Festival is back at the Logan Theatre with five days of decidedly unique programming (today through Sunday) that highlights the best in experimental cinema. Tonight's opening-night feature is Katherine Dohan and Alanna Stewart's What I Love About Concrete, a "homespun DIY fairy tale" about an angsty high school kid who turns into a swan. Jennifer Reeder's latest short video work, A Million Miles Away, precedes the screening.

DJ Joe Bryl spins choice cuts from the discography of Serge Gainsbourg in honor of the musician's 86th birthday tonight at Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar. Also, Cabbage-Head Men play acoustic versions of Gainsbourg's most popular songs.

Swedish alt-rockers the Sounds, who recently released their first album in two years, Weekend, play Metro tonight with Blondfire and Strange Talk.
